# Printer Not Activated Error 41 (Legacy Client)

Follow these steps if you receive a Printer not activated Error 41 when using the legacy client:
- Close M3.
- Log in to Windows with an administrator account that has full permissions on the PC.
- Open the Devices and Printers folder in Windows.
- Remove the M3PDF printer.
- Launch M3 while still logged in as the administrator.
- Run
TERMS.R1*
, set the destination to PDF viewer, and click Run Process. - The procedure is complete at this point.
