# Printer Not Activated Error 41 (Legacy Client)

Follow these steps if you receive a Printer not activated Error 41 when using the legacy client:

  1. Close M3.
  2. Log in to Windows with an administrator account that has full permissions on the PC.
  3. Open the Devices and Printers folder in Windows.
  4. Remove the M3PDF printer.
  5. Launch M3 while still logged in as the administrator.
  6. Run TERMS.R1*, set the destination to PDF viewer, and click Run Process.
  7. The procedure is complete at this point.
